She was a leader in the development of Hill's® Prescription Diet® a/d® Canine/Feline pet food--an energy dense, highly palatable canned product that can either be fed in a bowl or put into a syringe for assisted feeding to dogs and cats recovering from a debilitative state such as surgery, cancer therapy, injury or malnutrition. She also led the expansion a novel weight loss technology platform to Science Diet, developing Science Diet® Perfect Weight®. Most recently, Kathy led product development for the relaunch of Ideal Balance and its line extensions, including the new Ideal Balance Crafted line launched in early 2015 which includes products with novel ingredients, stew forms and Hill’s only baked dry dog foods.
