Eric continues his involvement in planning and received his designation as a certified planner in 2012 by the American Institute of Certified Planners (AICP), a division of the American Planning Association (APA).  He is also heavily involved in multiple scientific fields, sitting on the Board of Directors Kansas BIO, the Missouri Biotechnology Association, and the Midwest Chapter of the International Society of Pharmaceutical Engineers.
