Bruce Copeland is distinguished in his ability to identify, leverage, and develop valuable relationships. Throughout his career, he has helped clients, peers, and subordinates align themselves with organizations and services that provide support, assistance, and that ultimately contribute in achieving their goals.
Currently, as Director of Business Development at Cardinal Health Regulatory Sciences, a part of the Specialty Solutions offering from Cardinal Health, a publically held, Fortune 500 company with over 37,000 employees redefining healthcare by providing medical and pharmaceutical products and services to customers all around the world. Bruce partners small to large biopharmaceutical and device companies with experts in regulatory and product development planning, reimbursement strategy, program management, regulatory authority interaction, regulatory documentation preparation, regulatory publishing, and compliance programs.
Previously, as Director of Business Development and Marketing, Bruce led strategic initiatives for internal and external accounts, contract research organizations as well as outreach to venture capital groups for Vince & Associates Clinical Research. He assisted in growing a company of 30+ employee focused on late-phase clinical trials to a major player in the U.S. with 200+ employees in the clinical pharmacology space for early drug development serving the global biopharmaceutical industry.
Bruce holds an MA from the University of Missouri-Kansas City and a BSc from Wayne State College. He has served on various boards and committees with non-profits such as Camp Quality of Greater Kansas City, The Nelson-Atkins Museum of Art, Big Brothers Big Sisters of Greater Kansas City, and the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society. His passion for mentoring has led him to keep contact with local schools encouraging students to explore opportunities in the biopharmaceutical industry while also finding time to serve as a Big Brother (mentor) for Big Brothers Big Sisters for over 16 years.
